Day 5: European Adventure

Another wonderful day in Paris. Today we spent the day at Euro Disney! What fun! Check out our day in photos below......

This evening we finished off our stay in Paris with dinner near our hotel and then a crepe adventure! [We literally ran to the crepe stand....let's just say we are in LOVE!]

The kids wanted me to pass on some interesting things they've learned and experienced:

1. Pizza in Europe must be eaten with forks and knives....our kids did so successfully!!! Well done!

2. Sitting on the floor in public in Europe is VERY RUDE!!!! Do not do this!

3. Today the question on everyone's mind... 'Can we 'fast-pass' the bathroom line?'

And we are off to London tomorrow!

Bonne soirée!

Day 4: European Adventure

Bonjour Amis!

Today was yet another fun-filled day in Paris! We started the day off with a delicious breakfast in our hotel. Then, we set off on foot toward the Eiffel Tower. After taking some photos of the tower, we climbed to the top..... The kids were SO excited!!!

After climbing/riding to the top of the Eiffel Tower. We ventured by public bus to the Notre Dame, where we ate lunch did some exploring and shopping.

Go Team Awesome!

After enjoying our baguette sandwiches, crepes, and other yummy lunch treats we headed to the Louvre. We took a guided tour to see some of the most prized, famous art pieces of all time.

After our visit to the Louvre. We went to Paris' first and only Muse de Parfum, where we learned about different parfums and the processes in which they are made. The girls LOVED it!!! And moms, I'm sure you will too, when you get some lovely aromatic surprises ;).

Afterward, we went to dinner and then took an evening boat cruise to see Paris at night. These kidos are excellent in every way! Well done kidos and kudos to the parents and loved ones that are raising them!

Good night! We are headed to Euro Disney tomorrow!

Day 3: European Adventure

Bonjour!

We are now in Paris! What a full day! The kidos and chaperones were up at 4am to fly from Barcelona to Paris. Upon our arrival, we took a tour around the city via bus and stopped off to see some of the iconic Parisian sights: The Eiffel Tower, the Arch de Triumph, the Louvre, The Notre Dame, and much more. After taking a bus tour around the city and eating a delicious local lunch, we ventured off on foot down the Champs-Elysees to do some shopping. The kids went to French Boutiques, experienced High Street Shopping, and even tasted of some of France's delights: J'aime le chocolat! @ a local patisserie, where you can find all sorts of chocolates and sweets.

After shopping we continued on to Mont Pierre, the highest point in Paris to see the city, experience the locals bringing palm branches to one of the their most iconic Basilicas, and then onto see La Boheme.....an area near Mont Pierre, where artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and Renoir lived and worked. And for many years lived a Bohemian lifestyle and traded their paintings for food. For dinner we ate at a fabulous French Restaurant and and then headed back on the Metro to our hotel for the night.

Check out our photos below:

The kids wanted me to tell you that they love Paris, Love their amis [friends], LOVE the chocolate, and LOVE YOU!!!!

Have a wonderful night! Until tomorrow....Ms. P & the team!

Day 2: European Adventure

What a day!

Today we toured Barcelona on foot and on the metro and the kids shined! We had a great breakfast at the hotel to start our day, then we headed out to see La Pedrera and Casa Batillo [two more of Gaudi's famous architectural masterpieces].

After our morning tours we headed out for lunch and the kidos tried Paella, a traditional Spanish dish, for the first time!

The kids did great navigating their way on the public transit!

After lunch, we traveled onto Camp Nou to see the stadium and museum for the Barcelona 'Football' team. The kids had a BLAST! From there, we ventured to Las Ramblas to see what shopping in the open market was like. Tomorrow we have an early flight to Paris!

Talk to you soon!

All the kids say hello!
